2011 Lunar New Year

It's already Lunar New Year! Am so gonna blog an entry with some 22 photos to make my blog a little more interesting. (:

LNY makes me a really busy bumblebee. Having to prep all the stuffs ready for the rest of the day, prep myself (bath, makeup, etc) and also prep Kaypuff! Choosing what to wear for the day was the big headache, plus I had to think what to wear for Kayla and myself too!

Now let's have a small recap of the past three days of Lunar New Year! (:

新年除夕
Just one day before LNY! Reunion dinner was at Peach Garden Sichuan at Miramar Hotel with the in-laws, Ian, Kayla and also BIL with his girlfriend. Before that Ian went to collect Kay's spanking new Pediped sandals, super chio, next time post photo here! (:

Me and 北鼻宝贝.

At the hotel waiting for food.

鱼生, which I never ate a piece.

This is a yearly photo.

Kay after 守岁, sleeping in brand new pajamas. Aww.

大年初一
I skipped the whole Kluang thingie, some dumbass travelling there in a car for goddamn 5 hours journey, just to go show face and have a lunch. And then, another 5 hours back. I'm not doing something like this with an active toddler. I'm not so capable, and not this tolerant to nonsense.

So I had the whole of first day of LNY by myself and Kayla. We went to my grandma's place at Jurong West and had reunion dinner. This year, I distributed angbaos too! It's a very weird feeling! Kay was the sweetest darling and she fell asleep in the evening.

Kaypuff was quite afraid of strangers, not very very receptive to having strangers going too close to her. So even angbao also cannot give her, must give me. Alot of people wanna play with her, or come touch her abit, but she shun super fast!

Grandpa and grandma with 孙女孙子! Everyone's present!

Kayla and my super bad hair day. ):

Grandpa finally got to hold on to Kay's hands!

With Yiyi! (:

Very happy to see photos of herself in Yiyi's camera.

Kaypuff playing with her 叔叔's toy car, check out her awesome thighs!

Very very 可爱!

可爱,可爱,可爱!
Kaypuff in cheongsum which my daddy and mummy bought.

Floral prints FTW! (:

大年初二
LNY (by right) not supposed to have any unhappiness. But I was in a mad tub of anger and I couldn't contain it. But I guess things were just all the same, nothing changed. Sigh. Anyway, second day was pretty different from the past years. Went to this 叔公's place at Jurong West, and the food was slurpinglicious! Totally yumsie! The crabmeat, the lobster(!), the prawns, the soup, aww, making me very hungry at 2AM!

Kay donned this blue dress with drapes. Super uber cutesy! After this visiting, we went home to nap with Kay, and wake up to go Ian's place, cos Mummy and Daddy wanna 拜年 with in-laws.

"我在拍MTV!"

Very focused, very very focused.

So 用感情! (:

大年初三
Longest day of the LNY. Had dimsum lunch at Toa Payoh, then went to Punggol for visiting. Kaypuff cried her lungs out there. Nothing could pacify her, so we left pretty soon. Wanted to go visiting at Ian's friend's place, but end up Kaypuff fell asleep, so we napped together with her instead! (:

It's Jurong Point again in the evening and most shops are finally opened for business! The whole Jurong Point was like a dead town on the first day of LNY. So we bought diapers, strawbies, creams, meat, and had dinner before heading home. (:

Little girl in her red huge dress with white polkas. (:

Nomming makes her a happy girl.

Dancing all by herself. LOL.

Lunar New Year is probably the only days where Kay ate so many consecutive days of outside food. I still prefer cooking the same old dishes for her. I like the accomplished feel of having her slurping up her food to the last mouthful. Healthier, and more meaningful too! No qualms about feeding her outside food either, just a matter of preference?

This New Year, I am gonna keep telling myself this 4 words: 知足惜福 I think I am already doing it pretty well. Just that maybe this 4 words would calm me down a little more every time I get mad at someone or something.

Here's yours truly wishing you a glamorous 2011 LNY! ((:
