So, first things first, my girl's arrived safely and healthy-ly! (: Thanks to all people who actually smsed me before my induction, giving me encouragements, who girls know who you are! ^^
A little birth recount here. Not very detailed but as much as possible I try to jot down those I remember.
Birth Recount
6.40PM - Admission to Delivery Suite Triage for observation before induction of labour. Strapped on the CTG machine to monitor Lala's heartbeat rate and my contractions.
7.40PM - Checked, only 1CM dilated. Inserted the first Prostin tablet. No feeling, just like checking cervix dilation. (:
Continued the CTG monitoring, started to have very milk contractions after one hour.
9.50PM - Transferred up to Ward 82 Bed 07. Changed in the hospitalisation attire and wait for contractions before the scheduled second tablet of Prostin to be inserted at 2AM.
1.00AM - Contractions was very regular and coming back strong in almost every 3-5 minutes. And I feel like kicking hard, the pain is terrible! Making me groan and moan, no joke. So requested to have some pain relief back the the Delivery Suite Triage.
1.40AM - Only after 40 mins that I'm being wheeled down to have my pain relief. By that time, I'm rolling all over already! Goodness, glared at the person that brought me down. -.-" Only 2CM dilated! I feel so depressed, after so much pain only 1 more CM. ):
2.20AM - Still no pain relief given, I was perspiring in the air-conditioned room lors! Doctor to check on me was damn annoying, I say I want pain relief, she look at the CTG machine and frown, saying "Is it really so painful?" Basketball! Darn Indian doctor, I'm the one giving birth and having the pain, like as if you know my pain. I felt like shrieking at her. -.-"
3.30AM - Thank goodness, finally got my pain relief. It's an injection on the side of my right thigh. Relieved more than 50% of the pain and made me comfy enough to fall asleep. (:
6.45AM - Shifted to labour ward to wait for my gynae, Dr. Irene Chua to come rupture my waterbag. (: Changed in labour attire and I felt all excited!
7.40AM - Dr. Irene Chua came, checked for dilation, only 3CM and burst my waterbag, and I totally didn't know it at all! No feeling, and I was given any more pain relief after the on at 3.30AM. Then, felt the water slowly flowing out, the feeling's kinda weird, like I peed on the bed.
Asked hubby to have his breakfast first cos Dr. Irene Chua foresee that baby should be out at around 6PM in the evening, according to my progress. (:
9AM - Contractions started to get really bad. I thought it's normal cos the pain relief subsided. But it got stronger and the machine even showed up to 78. So got the nurse to check for dilation, she says it's already 5CM dilated. Faster than expected. Got epidural for pain relief, cannot take it anymore, and no time for waiting. I feel like dying any moment. -.-" Epidural injection isn't that terrible when you're experiencing contractions already. As long as you don't get to see that super huge needle before the injection, I think the pain is bearable. (:
10.50AM - Nurse checked for dilation again, this time it's already 9CM! So fast! I was so shocked and happy! (: Happy cos my girl's coming out very soon. I asked the nurse to inform Dr. Irene Chua, cos I don't feel safe without her around! Meantime, increase the dosage by alot, and my whole lower half of body feels numb. (:
12Noon - Dr. Irene Chua came and prepare for delivery. So happy to see her. She got me into position with help from my hubby and another nurse. Pushed like mad cow for around 4-5 times. And tadah, Baby Lala's out! Hubby and I didn't even know that Lala's out lors, we're still pushing! Then I saw her lying near my legs, I cried! I cried like a baby when she didn't even cry so much like me lors. Me and hubby's so happy to see her out. I then reached out to touched her, but can't reach. Nurse didn't pass her to me! Lucky Dr. Irene Chua asked her to pass to me and hug. I cried more having her on my chest. (: During this time, Dr. Irene Chua stitched up my second-degree tear and I saw strings pulling while she stitch, luckily I'm on epidural. I shudder at the pain without any pain relief.
The magical moment lasted long enough for me to forget the time that I had while contractions killed me. Lunch arrived before me and I vomited out after eating 1 mouth. After one to two hours, I'm being wheeled back to my ward with an air ring. And I immediately asked for my baby girl. (: Parents and friends came over for a visit and Lala's still sleeping, closing her eyes most of the time, playing with her tongue and lips. (:
Next day was hell. Cos the stitches down under were making me darn painful. I cried cos I felt useless, can't move without help, can't even have lunch on my own. Dr. Irene Chua dropped by to visit me in the morning at 9AM. She checked my stitches for any infections, luckily no. (: Hubby then came and we asked for Lala to be with us. What worried us was the she had yet to pass urine, so no urine means no going home! ): I breastfed her totally and she pooped normally, but simply no urine. Ended up, she really didn't urine and so I discharged at 1PM first and waited in the hospital for her to urine before we could go home together as a family.
Until around 3.30PM, the anxious wait is finally over, she urinated! (: I was so worried that she might need to be hospitalised if she don't pee in time. So we went off with our daughter and then went off to my my darlings. (: They came over to KKH to wait for me cos of the delay, and they even brought me tonics! (: So touched cos they made time for me and my girl within such short notice and be here with me during my most happiest day! Thanks Huisi, Jasmine and Munshee! ^^ It's then home sweet home.
Needless to say, first night home with baby is indeed emotional and chaotic. The MIL thingie pissed me off instantly and it piled up with all the other stuffs, and I simply broke down in tears. ): Now another issue is her jaundice! It went up from 173 yesterday, then 226 today! Tomorrow gonna have another checkup and I seriously, seriously hope she's gonna be better! I don't wanna hospitalise her lors! ):
That's all for now! (: Now for the photos time.

Thanks to all well wishes, really felt so warm reading all the tags and all while I'm away. (: Thanks for still concerning me and my baby. And thanks for reading. (: I couldn't reply all tags, but really a very sincere thank you to you. (:
Lastly, my hubby's the best. He's studying part-time but the arrival of baby Lala keeps both of us so busy he couldn't fork out a minute to study - there isn't even time to catch a wink! But he never fails to give me support and show love to Lala and me. (: The stitches down there made me in pain and totally emotional at times, he's always there for me and always giving me encouragement. (: Bringing back all the smiles for me when I'm in agony. Thanks hubhub! (: You know, I love you. (:
